Sears is a name we all know, a company that has been a staple for years. After living in the red for too long, they have filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Normally I would have some good advice for your company based on this. However, what can I say? Sears was a company that started as a catalog. Heck, the poor kept those catalogs in the outhouse as toilet paper. They bought what they wanted, and ‘recycled’ the paper afterward.
This is a company that has surpassed the years, and survived a lot of roadblocks.
Will chapter 11 kill the company? Not necessarily. It is up to them to decide whether it is worth saving. However, no one can deny that their approximately 125 year run has been iconic!
