Not long ago, Heinz moved it’s ketchup operations out of Canada into the US. While this is great news for Americans, this has caused a bite in profits. Why?
French’s is Canadian made and grown. Their ketchup is creating loyal customer’s throughout the country, causing Heinz to lose its footing. Canadians are proud to support the brands that invest in their home, much like Americans tend to seek American made products.
While Heinz may be seeing a loss in Canada, now is the time to tout their benefits to the US population. After all, we should also be proud of those brands that support our own job markets!
