American Express has recently announced that they have acquired the reservation platform, Resy. The service not only makes the reservation process easier on the front end, restaurants find that their list if no-show customers is shrinking. It also offers restaurateurs a better way to manage their business.
If the acquisition seems unusual to you, think again. Resy had worked with the credit card giant in the past. They collaborated before to help card holders with exclusive reservations.
Honestly, this may be the big start Resy needed to succeed. They have done well over the last 5 years, but now they have the opportunity to shine.
