A grocery store in Vancouver, BC recently rolled out a collection of plastic bags meant to shame shoppers into using reusable bags, and failed miserably.

Their lineup of 3 bags are now sought after by those who love the humor behind it.

While the grocer may be disappointed the shaming did not work, there is one good thing that came from this: People took notice of their store and now go out of their way to shop their shelves!

The marketing that came from this shift is amazing. If spun correctly, the publicity from this turn can definitely help their sales remain on top.

People sometimes forget that standing out from the crowd can do a lot of good for their business. It can lead to more sales. Their ‘shameful’ bags definitely did that for this store!
