Not only does the mom need time to welcome the new addition (and recover), dad’s want time to adjust too! Shouldn’t new parents of any gender have that opportunity?
This should not just encompass traditional families either. After all, there are family styles of all kinds.
Ultimately, no matter the gender, everyone should have a right to time off to help their new addition adjust (and vice versa) to their new home!
