It is only July 31st, so let us talk about our favorite fall holiday: Halloween!

Starting last year, a petition started circulating to move the holiday from the 31st to the last Saturday of the month.


The weekend would make the holiday safer and more fun for kids.

The petition has over 100k signatures, and it is getting ready to get a boom thanks to Snickers backing the idea with free candy.

I see this as a great move by the candy company. By backing a public movement with an offering of their product is a great way to support a cause and promote their product.

So, how could this change your Halloween business? Simply put, the petition alone is a great way for you to get the word out about your own products. Whether you support the petition or not, go public with your opinion! Tell the world about your great Halloween products and why they work best on either date in October.
