On Lockdown? How Do You Stay Sane: Crafting Edition

My day job considers me an essential employee, which means I am not locked down for 40 hours of my week.

The rest of the week?

Obviously cheesecakes are taking a backseat until this pandemic passes. However, that does not mean I have stopped everything I enjoy. My favorite hobby is in the forefront: knitting!

While I wait for this crisis to pass, I have been entertaining myself with some knitting needles, yarn, and a simple pattern. Here comes the real question:

How are you passing the time?

In the comments below, tell me some of your favorite pastimes, patterns, etc. that are helping you stay sane at home.

Pictured is my latest scarf start using a free heart pattern I found online.

  1. Like you I am classed as a key worker. Once home I have the family’s washing up to do – they are all confined to barracks as, obviously, not essential!! During my downtime I am knitting and gardening ❤

  2. Hubby catching up on boxes. Son moaning at not being able to see his mates. Working on baby knits as hubby becomes a grand dad next month. Although doesn’t look like we will be visiting for a while 🤔
