Hats, Hats, and More Hats? Ok.

I have been really busy, but that does not mean I have not found time to make products. I just haven’t found time to post about them! So, I wanted to do a quick shout out to say that I am still here and, look, I am productive!

That is everything I have been working on or completed. I just started an instagram where I will post all my in progress and completed projects, if you are interested. Just look me up “angesknittingnook”. I enjoy sharing my photos, I just don’t always make it to post. If you want to keep following my project progress, I highly recommend it.

Currently I am working on a nice little, detailed hat. Little is an understatement. It is a full size, adult women’s hat. It is the first photo in the batch shown above. I am about half done at this point; I just picked up more yarn to finish the hat.

I even picked up yarn for a black and white striped hat for a young lady who loves cows. I thought the theme would be fun for a winter hat for her. However, this is not happening until I finish the adult hat for my friend.

So, how did I end up making a custom hat for a friend? Well… I wanted to make her something and she came up with a knit/crochet exchange. She made me a crochet cat, and I am knitting her a special hat. All around, I love the idea behind this little project and I am having a ton of fun with it. She flew through making my cat. Now I feel way behind on her hat!

Anyway, yes, life is good. I am doing good. I am still working on my Hobo Hats in between other projects.

I have completed my studies for my health agent license through my state. I am just waiting for my state exam to be scheduled by my employer. Once that is done, and I take the exam, hopefully I will pass and be a licensed health insurance agent for the state of Michigan! That is a huge deal for me and would be an amazing accomplishment.

Even though I have completed the study requirements, I keep refreshing the information in my head. Right now I am listening to the videos with information on repeat. I take the simulated exam once a day to see where I am at and notate what I need to work on some more. I try not to overload myself because it causes me to struggle more. I take my pace that works best for me and I absorb as much information as possible. It seems to be working well.

I am quite proud of how hard I have worked and how far I have come in this journey.
