I have not felt well. Adding the lack of internet yesterday meant waiting even longer before I posted my gratitude.
Yet, here I am. Here you are. It is ready.
May 16th

I woke up that morning unable to walk. I would baby step anywhere I needed to go. Some of the pain lifted when I lay down and took a nap. Later that night, though, my right knee buckled unexpectedly.
All I knew was that something was wrong.

Yesterday, I suddenly regretted being someone who needs to walk to get around.
Ed and I went to breakfast, and I found sitting excruciating. I was no longer capable of sitting beyond 60 minutes. Before our food came, I needed to leave. I asked him to have them put my food in a to-go container.
It was that bad.
I ended up in the ER. Apparently, I have increased arthritis. The sciatic nerve is compressed, inflamed, and causing bilateral sciatica. I received an X-ray, a strong NSAID, and a prescription for Valium.
I cannot take traditional muscle relaxers due to SVT. Go, go heart issues. However, Valium can also relax muscles.
May 18th

We had no internet for the entirety of the 17th.
No work was completed. Just a lot of podcasts from my phone and crocheting. You know, between physical movements.
I have to move and sit frequently. It hurts a lot.
ChatGPT seems to think the physically disabled life is my future. It said that this is when we start discussing disability to survive.
That feels a lot like I’m running in place.
At least I have a temporary internet solution until the fiber comes back!
