Am I Good Enough?
All I have wanted to do is help others. I am very altruistic by nature (although saying that feels egotistical). All the same, my guiding principles in life have been to help others.
- I’ve made my weight loss journey public so others don’t feel alone.
- I’ve written publicly about my mental health struggles.
- I love discussing crafts and how they aid in mental wellness for others.
- I share advice based on my own experiences in a peer support capacity.
- I donate to charity when I am capable.
- I love participating in “pay it forward” moments, like paying for the customer behind me in the drive-thru.
- I enjoy helping people maneuver through business logistics.
If it is a strength of mine, I use it to help others. Because I don’t ever want people to feel unconfident in themselves, like I do myself.
Feeling Pain So Others Don’t.
I am almost 40 years old, and I am pretty sure this is a lifestyle choice. I have felt so many pains in my life that I actively work against others having to feel the same. It is one of the aspects that come out through my empathy for others.
As someone emotionally sensitive, many pains have felt excruciating over the years. From a young age, they became pain points that I actively worked to help others avoid. Eventually, it turned into doing charitable work when capable.
You know the old adage, “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.” My goal is to do my best to make sure no one dehydrates!
I am passionate about business. I study business. I throw all of my efforts into helping people grow or launch their own because I know it is hard. I am comfortable knowing I can bring people to water.
Here, you gain from my passion for mental health advocacy.
